Senior Mechanical Engineer

The RoleWe're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our Mechanical Industrial Department in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to manage and execute multiple projects, from proposal to completion, involving ASME Code Piping/Pressure Vessels, Industrial Ventilation/HVAC, and Material Handling in industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Design and modify balance of plant mechanical systems for various industrial facilities, including food processing, pharmaceutical, thermal power generating stations, refineries, and chemical processing plants.
- Manage and execute projects, ensuring quality objectives, schedules, and budgets are met, while working collaboratively with other disciplines.
- Pursue new business opportunities with existing and new clients, leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge.
- Mentor and manage junior and intermediate staff, fostering a culture of growth and development.
We're looking for a candidate with a strong background in mechanical engineering, project management skills, and experience in consulting. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university is required, with a post-graduate degree being an asset. You should be registered or eligible for registration as a professional engineer in Manitoba and other Canadian provinces. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
