Position Summary

In the role of Community Engagement Representative at FortisBC, you will serve as the face of the company at various local events, advocating for energy efficiency, safety practices, and company initiatives. This position demands exceptional communication abilities, a cheerful demeanor, and a genuine enthusiasm for public interaction.

Requirements

  • Completion of High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or promotional roles
  • Strong self-starter with commitment
  • Outgoing character with outstanding communication skills
  • Capability to speak in public and engage with varied audiences
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Collaborative team member
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Physical ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs

This part-time temporary role will require availability during weekends and evenings, including travel to various events across different service areas. Physical requirements include lifting, prolonged standing, and setting up promotional displays.
