Job Summary

We are seeking a Community Outreach Representative to join our team as a Street Team Community Ambassador. In this role, you will represent FortisBC at various community events, promoting energy conservation, safety, and company initiatives to customers. This position requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for engaging with the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent FortisBC at community events, promoting energy conservation and company initiatives
  • Engage with customers, providing information and answering questions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Assist with event planning and execution, including setup and teardown
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of customer service or promotional experience
  • Strong initiative and dedication
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to speak publicly and interact with diverse audiences
  • Computer proficiency
  • Positive team player
  • Fluency in English, additional languages a plus
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
