Woodworking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Dean Wood Construction Ltd.
Job Summary:The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to woodworking and construction, including preparing estimates, reading blueprints, and supervising other workers.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
