About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Training to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance staff and activity across multiple sites in the Lower Mainland. This includes ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of machinery, minimizing downtime, and accelerating adoption of the computerized maintenance management system.
Key Responsibilities- Budget for all maintenance activities and supplies
- Assist in strategic planning of plant and equipment layouts
- Coordinate a variety of Factors Group projects taking into consideration municipal regulations, architectural, engineering and trades
- Continuous improvement of First Time Quality (FTQ) components through process innovation and variation reduction, including control of material usage variances and evaluation of new materials, methods, and technologies
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines
- 10 years' experience in plant engineering and maintenance operations, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity
- Proficient in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management software (CMMS)
- Experience with tablet presses, encapsulation, packaging equipment, high pressure steam boilers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), speed controls, etc.
