About the Role:
The Director of Sales will provide strategic leadership and direction for the advancement of Road & Mineral Sales for Western Canada. This position will be accountable for the growth in Hamm, Kleemann, Vogele & Wirtgen sales volume, margins, and performance within the assigned area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the Road & Mineral Technology market.
- Provide feedback and input to Brandt and Wirtgen on future opportunities and competitive pressures in the Road & Mineral Technology business.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing programs and advertising initiatives to drive sales growth.
- Provide a focused approach to Road & Mineral Technology sales and aid in the recruitment, development and retention of Territory Managers.
- Keep current on all new Product advancements and build Sales Strategies to increase sales.
- Provide assistance and guidance to Branch Sales Managers to support and improve sales techniques, proposals, training, demonstrations, and customer events.
- Work with suppliers on current product issues, new product opportunities, and competitive pricing pressures.
- Travel to Branches to develop and foster multi-level selling process with end users and understand unique market challenges.
- Attend and champion involvement with Industry specific events.
- Manage and direct Corporate Product Managers to enhance customer acceptance and improve Customer experience during demonstration and delivery/ownership of assigned Product groups.
- Work with Corporate Inventory Manager to ensure proper specification and appropriate inventory is available to anticipate and satisfy sales demands.
Requirements:
- Must be able to travel internationally and hold a valid Passport.
