About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications General Manager to join our team at CHEEMA SMART SOLUTIONS LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the telecommunications department, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance reviews to ensure the team is meeting its objectives.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
Team Management
  • Team Size: Lead a team of 1 to 2 people, with the potential to expand to 3-4 people.
Technical Requirements
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate for the right candidate.
  • Relocation Costs: Relocation costs not covered by the employer.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and a large workload.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
