- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to ensure the team is meeting expectations.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
The Telecommunications General Manager will supervise a team of 1 to 2 people, with the potential to expand to 3-4 people.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
- Area of Work Experience: Management experience in a telecommunications environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
The Telecommunications General Manager will work in a permanent role, with a 37.5-hour workweek, and will be required to work in English.
