About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Manager to join our Marketing team at Beiersdorf. As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase market share for NIVEA Personal Care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Strategic Plans: Create mid-term and long-term strategic plans for NIVEA Personal Care, including Shower, Deodorant, and Men categories.
  2. Execute Marketing Plans: Execute annual product marketing plans to achieve share, volume, and profit objectives, including leading the go-to-market process for new product launches, pricing, advertising, and media planning.
  3. Launch New Products: Develop and implement new product launches in collaboration with international marketing teams.
  4. Media Campaigns: Plan, execute, and monitor national media campaigns, including digital, TVC, influencer, and social media strategy.
  5. Financial Planning: Create financial and manufacturing planning forecasts.
  6. Marketing Budget Management: Maintain and optimize marketing budget spending/ROI.
  7. Market Analysis: Conduct various analyses, including category, ad-hoc market research, program evaluation for ROI, etc.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Control and monitor the development of sales, profit, and market share vs. the annual business plan.
  9. Marketing Program Optimization: Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize marketing programs, competitive information, market trends, customer needs, professional communication, and product performance to increase efficiencies and effectiveness.
  10. Presentation and Communication: Develop and deliver various presentations for management, sales organization, and trade customers, updating all decision-makers on the progress and status of product marketing plans.
  11. Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with multi-organizational business teams.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Brand Manager with a strong background in marketing and a passion for driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Marketing Degree: B. Comm. in Marketing.
  2. Brand Management Experience: 3-5 years of brand management experience in a consumer goods environment, preferably in the Skin Care or Beauty category.
  3. Marketing Knowledge: Strong knowledge of marketing principles, combined with strong financial and analytical skills to provide key takeaways and recommendations.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate others.
  5. Results-Oriented: Must be results-oriented, organized with strong project management capabilities in a collaborative environment.
  6. Solutions-Oriented: Solutions-oriented, takes initiative, and has an entrepreneurial spirit.
  7. Team Player: Must be a team player, supporting and contributing to the broader business as necessary.
  8. Language Skills: Bilingual English and French ideal.
  9. Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Ideally proficient in Nielsen.
