About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall construction management, including design, coordination, budget, and schedule management.
  • Prepare regular and accurate billings for owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Meet with owners and consulting teams to communicate effectively and ensure the best interests of the company are represented.
  • Monitor and forecast project cost reports to ensure they align with estimates and maintain a positive cash flow.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support team development.
  • Engage and build relationships with stakeholders to achieve common goals and maintain corporate interests.
  • Participate in business development with internal team members to grow the General Contracting division.
  • Manage, mentor, and train internal staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date project information using Autodesk Build and Microsoft Project.
  • Assist with estimating, tendering, and job showings as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in the ICI or Condo/Apartment Building industry.
    • Architectural or Engineering diploma or degree is considered an asset.
    • Maintain extensive knowledge of CCDC Contracts and Construction Law.
    • Passion for interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership development.
    • Impeccable integrity.
    • Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
    • Strength in analysis and creative problem solving.
    • Experience with COR (Certificate of Recognition) is considered an asset.
