Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager
Job Summary:
The Red Deer Regional Health Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to play a central role in the growth of our mission. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing and communication strategies that align with our values and promote our organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation's mission, services, and events.
- Graphic Design and Visual Identity: Develop and maintain our visual brand identity, including logos, graphics, and marketing materials, using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
- Internal and External Communications: Establish and drive a strategic internal and external communications strategy to engage our community, stakeholders, and donors.
- Marketing Budget Management: Build and manage the marketing and communications budget to ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain effective relationships with external suppliers, including graphic designers, printers, media specialists, and copywriters.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects to produce high-quality publications and materials on time and within budget.
- Crisis Management: Analyze and prepare for potential crises and catastrophes that may impact our organization's image and reputation.
- Brand Standards: Ensure adherence to brand standards for design and content across all events and marketing materials.
- Fundraising Support: Contribute to and strengthen fundraising proposals and donor reports.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience working in marketing or advertising.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, non-profit experience, ability to work independently, and experience building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other design programs, including Adobe Creative Suite.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to commute to our office in Red Deer, AB.
