Position Overview

The Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring our internal stakeholders achieve success through exceptional technical support. This position is designed to deliver a comprehensive support experience that meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve network, printer, and system-related issues.
  • Handle incoming IT support inquiries via calls and emails.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance to staff.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with vendors when necessary.
  • Administer Microsoft Azure, managing multiple subscriptions and configurations of Azure Virtual Machines.
  • Participate in the incident management process, including identification, classification, investigation, and resolution of incidents.
  • Create and manage user accounts.
  • Temporarily suspend user accounts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, Exchange, MS Office Suite, O365, and Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
  • Possess an IT-related diploma.
  • Experience in a technical support environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A valid G class driver's license and access to a vehicle is advantageous.
