Accounting Clerk Role
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a relevant positionKey Responsibilities
  • Prepare and calculate payroll cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and their depreciation
  • Maintain and balance diverse accounts using both manual and computerized accounting systems
  • Oversee general ledgers and financial statements
  • Record journal entries
  • Generate various statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Complete tax filings
  • Compile trial balances of accounts
  • Reconcile financial accountsQualifications
  • Willingness to work shifts or be on-call
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Completion of necessary certifications
  • Highest level of education achieved
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Language of Work: English
  • Work Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly
