Niagara Children's Centre is seeking a skilled Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide communication and hearing screenings, implement communication intervention programs, and assist with program management and waitlist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide communication and hearing screenings for children and youth
- Implement communication intervention programs individually and in groups
- Assist with program management and waitlist
- Prepare therapy materials to assist SLPs
- Plan therapy sessions for clients on the CDA caseload
- Successful completion of a Communicative/Communication Disorders Assistant program at a recognized college/university
- A sound understanding and skill in the practice of Communication Disorders
- Ability to work effectively with children, youth, and families
- Ability to manage changing caseload
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
