Overview of Responsibilities

The primary role of the employee in this position involves the planning and execution of various social, cultural, and athletic events aimed at diverse groups, aligning with their interests and established guidelines. These activities serve as enhancements to educational programs or primarily as recreational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role will engage in the development and delivery of sports and cultural activity initiatives, including but not limited to music, theater, film, visual arts, exhibitions, sports competitions, and fitness programs.

They will be responsible for identifying suitable activities, creating program timelines, and ensuring seamless execution. This includes clarifying the purpose, goals, and rules of the activities, as well as recognizing and addressing any irregularities in accordance with established protocols.

Utilizing effective facilitation techniques, the employee will assist groups in organizing and executing leisure activities.

In residential settings, the employee will provide guidance and support to students regarding various aspects of residence life. They may need to collaborate with school personnel and, on occasion, communicate with parents regarding specific issues or situations.

In line with established policies, the employee may also handle communications, including managing publicity efforts, creating bulletins, and preparing news releases for local media.

They will participate in the selection of equipment and materials for group activities, ensuring that quality and cost considerations are taken into account, and will make appropriate recommendations to relevant authorities. Additionally, the employee will oversee equipment maintenance, maintain an inventory, and ensure efficient usage.

There may be occasions where the employee is tasked with training less experienced technicians and coordinating the efforts of support staff involved in technical operations related to program implementation.

Should the need arise, the employee will perform any other related duties as assigned.
