Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Quality Inn & Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
    • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that they are adequate and properly maintained.
  • Staff Scheduling and Development
    • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out and that all necessary documentation is maintained.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions

35 to 40 hours per week.
