Enbridge is dedicated to building a leading RNG team in Ontario, recognizing the crucial role RNG plays in decarbonizing the province. We are seeking a driven and experienced individual to join our growing RNG department.
Your Role: Business Development Advisor, Renewable Natural Gas
As a Business Development Advisor, you will be instrumental in driving the success of Enbridge's RNG program. You will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of strategies to convert biogas feedstock into RNG and inject it into the natural gas distribution system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the RNG, CNG, and Hydrogen intra-year budget, long-range forecast, and asset management plan.
- Provide support to RNG Specialists and CCWS Sales Support for RNG system access connection requests.
- Support the Voluntary RNG program and future Low Carbon Voluntary Program initiatives.
- Maintain and update prospect/client databases using CRM tools.
- Respond to a wide range of external RNG inquiries, leveraging industry knowledge to provide technical expertise and guidance.
- Assist in developing RNG Operations & Maintenance contracts.
- Create monthly project reports for RNG projects as required.
- Contribute to the development of written proposals and sales presentations.
- Collaborate with Marketing on sponsorship opportunities, events, and industry association participation.
Your Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in business development, project management, and customer support within the renewable energy sector.
- University Degree in Business, Commerce, Environmental Studies, or Engineering with a minimum of four years of directly related experience.
- Extensive experience in customer support, project management, and contract support is essential.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret industry EOI's and RFI's are required.
- Strong attention to detail, effective priority setting skills, and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team are highly valued.
- A successful candidate must demonstrate creativity, flexibility, and the ability to consider contending business models objectively.
- Diverse business and project experience is an asset, with preference given to applicants with financial and/or engineering designations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
