As the Clinical Nutrition and Food Services Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, quality control, inventory management, and staff supervision. Your expertise in clinical nutrition will be instrumental in developing balanced and personalized meal plans that meet the diverse needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive food service strategies across 15 facilities, ensuring adherence to nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
- Manage a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing environment.
- Oversee the procurement and inventory management of food supplies, equipment, and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilization.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized meal plans that address specific dietary needs and medical conditions.
- Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical nutrition, including experience in long-term care settings.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of success in managing teams and achieving operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
