**Job Summary**
0050 United Rentals of Canada, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Mechanic to join our team. As a Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment.
- Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
- Assist with the delivery and pickup of equipment and parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
- Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
