Job Summary:

A dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Representative is sought by the Lock Search Group to join their team and contribute to the growth and success of their industrial infrastructure manufacturing client. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate manage and grow the company's customer base within the GTA West Region, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, assessing their needs, and providing accurate product knowledge and consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a robust territory: Utilize effective time management and strategic planning to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities: Conduct thorough research to pinpoint competitive users and non-users within the designated territory, with the goal of promoting service agreements, substantial repairs, and comprehensive overhauls.
  • Secure management approval: Obtain signatures for any applicable discounts and ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Direct qualified leads: Effectively direct qualified leads to the appropriate representatives for all offered products and services.
  • Formulate strategic action plans: Develop and implement plans aimed at converting competitive users and non-users into dedicated clients of our services.
  • Retain existing accounts: Actively engage in efforts to retain existing accounts and foster long-term relationships with customers.
  • Sustain ongoing communication: Maintain ongoing communication with customers and prospects within the assigned territory through a combination of face-to-face meetings, telephone correspondence, and email interactions.
  • Identify specific needs: Cultivate key segments for maintenance contracts, workshop and fieldwork services, power-related solutions, and various industrial equipment offerings.
  • Deliver comprehensive product information: Provide detailed product information, encompassing features, benefits, and updates on new product lines.
  • Present comprehensive training options: Offer comprehensive training options and lease agreements in relation to proposed equipment and services.
  • Serve as a dedicated representative: Act as a dedicated representative, actively promoting all internal services and divisions to our valued customers.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education: A post-secondary education is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of autonomous outside sales experience: A minimum of 3 years of autonomous outside sales experience is mandatory, with a preference for candidates with expertise in new account acquisition and hunter well knowledge with sell service agreements, and equipment sales.
  • Ability and interest to work from a home office: The ability and interest to work from a home office is a must.
  • Comfort working with a CRM & other reporting tools: Comfort working with a CRM and other reporting tools is essential.
  • Demonstrated prowess in prospect conversion and closing deals: A proven track record in prospect conversion and closing deals while consistently meeting established sales quotas is required.
