The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead the Newcomer Integration team. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership for newcomer settlement services and workforce integration, including foreign qualification recognition.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of immigration and newcomer programs, settlement and language services, and interconnected immigration and multicultural priorities. They will also have experience leading complex projects and secretariat support, as well as an ability to work effectively with stakeholders to manage diverse expectations and interests.
The Executive Director will be responsible for developing strategic recommendations, options, and providing advice to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Newcomer and Multicultural Supports. They will also provide secretariat leadership for the Foreign Credential Advisory Committee.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and influential skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with complex stakeholders and partners. They will also have experience leading strong teams and demonstrating an understanding of government and department priorities.
Salary: $5,082.46 - $6,679.30 bi-weekly ($132,652 - $174,329 annually)
