Job Title:

Executive Director, Newcomer Integration

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Newcomer Integration team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in immigration and multiculturalism, with experience in leading complex projects and teams. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that support the integration of newcomers into Alberta communities and the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs to support the integration of newcomers into Alberta communities and the workforce
  • Lead a team of professionals in the development and implementation of programs and services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address the needs of newcomers
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support program delivery
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. public administration, social work, international relations)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in immigration and multiculturalism
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

The Government of Alberta offers a competitive salary range of $132,652 - $174,329 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
