RFIC Design and Validation Co-op

Skyworks is driving the wireless networking revolution with high-performance analog semiconductors. As a RFIC Design and Validation Co-op, you will be part of our cutting-edge Mobile Solutions team, developing technology for future mobile devices. You will work with and be mentored by our leading design engineers, collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. This role offers advanced technical knowledge, valuable experience, and the opportunity to explore full-time job opportunities at Skyworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RFICs for Multi-chip modules
  • Contribute to the design and verification of low noise amplifiers, RF switches, couplers, filters, and other RF components
  • Perform lab testing using RF test equipment and analyze data to guide the design progression
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with other engineers and technicians
  • Run simulations using design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso
Requirements:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor's, Master's Degree, or PHD program
  • Strong proficiency in Excel with emphasis on data organization and presentation
  • Knowledge in RF parameters is an asset
  • RFIC Design and Simulation experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in using RF equipment is highly preferred
  • Strong desire to learn and grow
  • Willingness to share knowledge and work with others
