Job Summary:

The Dispatch Agent serves as the central hub for all winter operations departments and Ski Patrol, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Patrol operations, including dispatching personnel to accidents and emergency scenarios.
  • Delegate resources to situations such as ski lift breakdowns, avalanches, and emergency injuries.
  • Maintain daily Patrol Dispatch for all daily operations, including injuries, ski run trail checks, and avalanche control.
  • Ensure the safe transport of guests and staff off the slopes.
  • Manage the Dispatch Office and supplies.
  • Assist Patrol with Sweep and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of mountain layouts and operations.
  • Familiarity with emergency procedures, including avalanche control, medical emergencies, and ski lift breakdowns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team play.
  • Working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
