About the position:
Are you prepared to elevate your culinary career? Café Boulud is seeking a Full-Time Chef de Partie who shares our enthusiasm for gastronomy and is eager to learn from and contribute to our culinary brigade.
Key Responsibilities:
We are in search of a candidate who possesses a genuine passion for cuisine. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a robust work ethic. The Chef de Partie collaborates with fellow team members and provides daily guidance to ensure a flawlessly executed final product. The ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and Sous Chefs is essential. Candidates must be able to interpret and follow menus and recipes, as well as perform basic mathematical calculations. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, while also leading and mentoring others, are required. This position necessitates prolonged standing for up to 8 hours per shift and the capability to lift up to 50lbs. A flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays, is essential. The ideal candidate will exhibit an outgoing personality and a proactive approach to all tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment
- Previous exposure to French cuisine
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language
- Culinary training degree or diploma

Starting pay rate of $28.30, with a full pay rate of $31.44.
Work Schedule:
The ideal candidate will possess a flexible work schedule and be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
