About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional - Residential to join our team at enVision Community Living. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to individuals in their daily lives, including meal preparation, personal care, and social activities.
  • Assist with navigating challenges and barriers, celebrating successes, and promoting independence.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and community partners.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
  • No experience required.
  • Experience, education, or training in the Disability Sector is considered an asset.
  • Core Competencies: Advocacy, building relationships, championing change and innovation, facilitating growth and development, inclusive leadership, problem-solving and decision-making, resilience, resource management, strategic thinking, valuing EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion).
  • Valid Manitoba Class 5F License and access to a vehicle, willingness to transport individuals supported.
  • Clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry and satisfactory Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector.
