We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional – Residential to join our team at enVision Community Living. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to live their best lives.
About the Opportunity:
As a Direct Support Professional – Residential, you will work closely with our team to provide personalized support and care to individuals in a residential setting. Your role will involve assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and fostering a sense of community and belonging. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as advocacy, building relationships, and problem-solving.

Qualifications:
- No experience required
- Experience, education, or training in the Disability Sector will be considered an asset
- Core Competencies: Advocacy, building relationships, championing change and innovation, facilitating growth and development, inclusive leadership, problem-solving and decision-making, resilience, resource management, strategic thinking, valuing EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion)
- Experience working or volunteering in Human Services is an asset
- Valid Manitoba Class 5F License and access to vehicle, willingness to transport person supported required
- Clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry and satisfactory Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
Additional Information:
- Wage Scale: $17.50 - $20.55 per hour
- Hours of Work: shifts may include days, evening, afternoon, weekend, and overnight
- Full-time: 80 hours bi-weekly
- Part-time: 59 hours bi-weekly
- Casual: less than 50 hours bi-weekly
- Location: depending on the current vacancy, applicant may have the opportunity to choose from Steinbach, Niverville, St. Anne, La Broquerie Manitoba locations
