Position Summary:
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial operations within the hotel. This position involves meticulous auditing of all revenue reports and ensuring compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough audits of all outlet reports, ensuring alignment with the Opera system for accuracy.
2. Review banquet functions and verify charges against banquet event orders.
3. Reconcile daily sales across various outlets.
4. Audit Food & Beverage and all other hotel-generated revenue for precision.
5. Segregate and review daily work of Guest Service Agents for correctness.
6. Ensure accuracy in credit card transactions, confirming that POS summary reports match Opera records.
7. Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to manage PM and permanent folios on a daily basis.
8. Audit administrative PM folios and lost interface posting charges, analyzing and reallocating them to the appropriate accounts.
9. Execute month-end closing procedures, ensuring the trial balance corresponds with the general ledger.
10. Communicate any discrepancies to the Financial Controller or Assistant Financial Controller.

Environmental Responsibility:
Participate in initiatives aimed at preserving biological diversity and enhancing environmental awareness. Implement necessary training to promote energy conservation within the facility. Ensure safe handling of chemicals in compliance with legal standards, maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year program).

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years in a relevant role.

Language Skills:
Proficient in a foreign language sufficient to engage with related literature.

Training:
Completion of relevant courses and seminars in the field.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office and Front Office computer systems.

Special Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of legislation, practices, and systems pertinent to the hospitality industry.
