Job Title: Accounts Receivable Technician

CB Canada, a prominent player in the food sector, is actively looking for an Accounts Receivable Technician to enhance their financial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily deposits and electronic funds transfer (EFT) entries into the accounting system;
  • Process cheque payments and facilitate deposits through scanning or at the bank when necessary;
  • Maintain and update accounts receivable records using Excel;
  • Engage with clients and their representatives to address inquiries and resolve payment issues;
  • Track payment deadlines diligently;
  • Input billing information across various client platforms;
  • Generate credit notes in accordance with discount and return policies;
  • Document challenges related to customer payment applications;
  • Collaborate with sales teams to address collection-related concerns;
  • Work alongside management to uphold collection targets and monitor the status of customer accounts;
  • Identify patterns and challenges associated with delayed payments and customer deductions.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • DEC in Accounting or equivalent;
  • Proficient in English, both functional and advanced.
