About the Role

Cuso International is seeking a skilled Communications and Marketing Advisor to join our team in Lima, Peru. As a key member of our Country Office, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality communications materials that effectively capture and demonstrate the impact of our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with Cuso International's global goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to create engaging and impactful content, including written materials, videos, and social media posts.
  • Design and produce visual materials, such as infographics, posters, and brochures, to support our projects and events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and other stakeholders to promote our work and build our reputation.
  • Provide training and capacity-building support to staff and partners on communications and marketing best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications and marketing, and apply this knowledge to improve our communications efforts.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in communications and marketing, preferably in a development or non-profit context.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging and impactful communications materials, including written content, visual materials, and social media campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, design, and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their role in communications and marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
