About the Role

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plasma Centre Manager to join our dynamic Collections Operations Ontario team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our plasma donation and production process, ensuring the highest level of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage overall operations, including labour, productivity, quality control, and safety measures.
  • Meet operational cost targets and identify opportunities for cost reduction or process improvement.
  • Evaluate and plan the allocation of staff and resources for collection events.
  • Effectively manage a team, including recruitment, coaching, attendance management, and disciplinary processes.
  • Implement and support an exceptional donor experience program, promoting recruitment and retention.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practice standards.
  • Collaborate with the business development manager to achieve team goals.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent management/leadership experience in an operational function.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What You Can Expect
