About the Role

Carewest Innovative Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Allied Health Practice Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting excellence in Allied Health practice and advancing the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of Allied Health guidelines and protocols to ensure evidence-based practice and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality and safety of care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Allied Health teams to advance practice and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to advance the delivery of Allied Health services.
Requirements
  • Masters level degree in Occupational or Physical Therapy.
  • Active or eligible for practice license and professional registration in one of the following disciplines: Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
  • PROSCI Change Management certificate and AHS Change management modules.
  • Alberta Health Services Improvement Way (AIW) Green Belt certification.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in healthcare education, leadership, or professional development role in an organization of significant size and complexity.
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical experience in the last 5 years in continuing care, focusing on rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and build collaborative relationships with staff, physicians, patients, and families, leaders, learners, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of wide range of research design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of program evaluation approaches and outcomes measurements.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize complex problems and seek solutions.
  • Connect Care proficiency.

  • Project management and change management knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in planning, implementing, and leading change from an evidence-based perspective.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and experience.
