Key Responsibilities- Lead clinical practice in the Subacute department, promoting excellence in nursing care and advancing the profession through education and research.
- Develop and implement evidence-based guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to drive quality care and patient safety initiatives.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop plans to address gaps in care, improving patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical experience in acute care, focusing on geriatrics, orthopedics, or rehabilitation.
- Proven leadership and clinical expertise, with a strong track record of improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Computer literacy skills, with experience using electronic health records and other healthcare software.
- Project management and change management knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and lead change from an evidence-based perspective.
- Central Venous Catheter certification.
- PROSCI Change Management certificate.
- Alberta Health Services Improvement Way (AIW) Green Belt certification.
