Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Assembler to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands Canada Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating windows and doors to meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble and fabricate windows and doors using various materials and equipment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on assembled products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Machine Operation: Operate machinery and equipment to fabricate parts and products, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Material Handling: Load, feed, and place materials into machines, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
- Defective Product Handling: Return defective products for repair or recycling, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Hand Tool Operation: Use hand tools to sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form.
- Assembly and Bonding: Assemble parts and components using various bonding methods, such as screwing, clipping, gluing, or welding.
- Material Cutting and Shaping: Cut, shape, and fit materials to form parts and components.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, including assembly and fabrication, with attention to detail and quality.
- Heavy Load Handling: Handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs), with proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
- Physically Demanding: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and standing for extended periods.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with overtime required to meet production demands.
