Metal Fabrication Specialist

At GearCo Industrial Services Inc., we are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal plates and sections to form structures, using a variety of techniques including welding and bolting. You will also be required to set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, and construct patterns and templates as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
* Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures
* Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable structures
* Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, including CNC machines
* Construct patterns and templates as needed
* Install fabricated components in final product

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

* Proficient in the use of computer numerical control (CNC) machines
* Experience with heavy-duty metal-working machines

Work Environment:

* 40 hours per week
* English language
* Permanent work term
