About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at GearCo Industrial Services Inc. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay Out and Assemble Metal Components

Utilize your expertise to lay out reference points and patterns, and assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures.

Operate Heavy-Duty Metal-Working Machines

Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, including CNC machines, to fabricate metal components.

Weld and Bolt Metal Sections

Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable metal structures.

Install Fabricated Components

Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precise fit and finish.

Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment

Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication.

Language

English language proficiency.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
