About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Jai Homes Ltd. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Design Development: Develop and prepare design sketches and concepts for new products and projects.
  • Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects.
  • Documentation and Drawing Sets: Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for projects.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure design meets specifications.
  • Software Operations: Operate CAD and other computer software systems to design and develop products.
Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Organization: Organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Work Environment: Work Term: Permanent, Work Language: English, Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
