Job Summary:

The Industrial Metal Fabrication Assistant will assist in the fabrication of metal products, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production deadlines. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation of metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal products.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions and assist in the polishing process to achieve a mirror finish.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
Work Environment:

The Industrial Metal Fabrication Assistant will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel. The role also demands strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team setting.
