Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Leader to oversee the daily operations of our Keethanow Food Supermarket in La Ronge, SK. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of store operations, including merchandising, staffing, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise a team of dedicated employees, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing waste and loss.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all employees and customers, adhering to relevant safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in retail management, preferably within the food industry.
- Strong financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
