Job Overview

Join our team at Ocean West Marine Group Inc. as a Marine Maintenance Technician. This permanent position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of marine equipment.

Employment Details

Qualifications
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Exposure to noisy, dusty, and odorous conditions
  • Work may involve heights and confined spaces
  • Tasks may be performed in/on water and outdoors in wet or damp conditions
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Conduct inspections and document findings
  • Estimate repair costs and review work orders
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of equipment
  • Instruct apprentices and advise clients on equipment condition
  • Test and adjust repaired machinery for optimal performance
Equipment Proficiency
