About the Role

The Winnipeg office of Smith + Andersen is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage electrical projects from conceptualization to completion, including design, procurement, installation, and testing.
* Coordinate with internal teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and estimators, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide solutions that meet their expectations.

Requirements

* 10+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in the building services industry.
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
* Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools.
