Job Summary
As a Team Lead in our Customer Care Center, you will be responsible for leading a team of Insurance Advisors, acting as a Subject Matter Expert, and coaching and mentoring them to achieve success. You will support daily operations, contribute to business growth, and ensure adherence to company processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process changes to insurance policies and endorsements in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Stay up-to-date with industry and product knowledge to ensure compliance with legislative statutes.
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff in partnership with the Manager, Customer Care Centre.
- Develop your skills through industry involvement, training, and other courses.
- Ensure consistent and accurate documentation and correspondence.
- Assist other departments, positions, tasks, and duties as required.
- Manage and audit the team of advisors for optimal Care Centre performance.
- Perform observational coaching with staff in partnership with the Manager, Customer Care Centre.
- Develop reports through industry involvement, training, and other courses.
Requirements
- General Insurance Level 2 License required.
- A history of implementing initiatives and best practices.
- Strong time-management and training skills in a deadline-driven environment.
- Professional communication etiquette, both written and verbal.
