About the Job

Gumban Roofing and Renovation is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced tradespeople with various tasks related to residential renovation and roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and assist with trade work during home construction or renovation activities
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform various tasks as assigned by supervisors
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work outdoors in various locations, including residential renovation sites. You will be exposed to heights, noise, dust, and hot temperatures. You must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and sound discrimination
