About the Job

Gumban Roofing and Renovation is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced tradespeople with various tasks related to residential renovation and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Read Blueprints and Determine Work Requirements: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Perform Various Trade Work: Assist experienced tradespeople with various trade work during home construction or renovation activities.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in noisy and dusty conditions. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
