About the Job

Gumban Roofing and Renovation is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced tradespeople with various tasks related to residential renovation and roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and assist in the execution of tasks.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform various trade work during home construction or renovation activities, under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work outdoors in various locations, including residential renovation sites. You will be exposed to heights, noise, dust, and hot temperatures. It is essential to be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in physically demanding conditions.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
