Job Summary

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance Governance & Operations team, you will be responsible for managing engagement across Compliance teams to understand root causes and common themes of issues and providing trend and insight analysis to drive effective issues management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Metric Development and Data Insights for executive reporting, including materials prepared for the TD Bank Board of Directors, enterprise risk committees, and others.
  • Manage engagement across Compliance teams to understand root causes and common themes of issues and provide trend and insight analysis to drive effective issues management reporting.
  • Act as the liaison with and coordinates current status and insight reporting of regulatory findings across all Compliance Units to inform critical thinking and analysis for reporting.
  • Support the reporting of all Compliance risk matters to the Compliance SET and CRO.
  • Develop business and performance reporting, analytics & insights to enable effective business management, resource management/capacity planning and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Expert in compliance KRIs and KPIs, strategies, and risk management.
  • Previous experience with data analysis and reporting is critical.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent judgment and the ability to anticipate emerging trends and critical analysis and effective writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including public speaking/presentation skills and well-developed listening and negotiation skills.
  • Highest personal and professional integrity and standards to advance TD's vision and protect the brand.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrates ability delivering on objectives, focuses on what matters and can work across silos to build effective working relationships.
  • Transparent communicator and respected TD representative, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving & analytical skills, including the ability to comprehend a situation by breaking it down into its components and identifying underlying issues.
  • Expertise in working effectively in ambiguity with all levels of colleagues and executives to enhance the colleague experience.
Education and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Relevant professional designations and/or certifications, including law degree, preferred.
  • 7+ years relevant experience.
