CB Canada is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring that their computer hardware and software issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, including printers and scanners.
- Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure that employees are satisfied with the level of support provided.
Requirements:
- 1 + years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a mid-sized organization.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Windows desktop and applications, as well as Microsoft server environment, including Windows Server, Exchange, and SQL.
- Expert knowledge of installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Solid troubleshooting skills with both hardware and software, combined with excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Working knowledge and ability to identify areas of improvement through process or technology.
- Highly motivated with great attention to detail and providing quality results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with different levels and types of users.
- Post-Secondary education in the field of Computer Science or equivalent.
