Senior Claims Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Representative to join our team at Definity. As a Senior Claims Representative, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Senior Bodily Injury, Casualty, and General Liability Claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate claims to determine liability and quantum, and maintain detailed file records.
- Engage all stakeholders in the effective management of a claim, including underwriting and senior leadership.
- Confirm policy coverages and negotiate settlements with claimants and their counsel.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on claims handling best practices.
- Perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.
- University degree or college diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of claims handling experience in Bodily Injury/Casualty Litigation.
- Notable Commercial General Liability Claims handling experience, both Bodily Injury and Property damage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary range: $55,800 - $102,800.
