Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Shell Moosomin. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales workers, apprentices, and other staff members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure a smooth operation of the gas station.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Order Merchandise: Source and purchase necessary supplies and merchandise to maintain a well-stocked gas station.
- Authorize Returns: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Establish Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime.
- Prepare Reports: Generate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management.
- Supervise Activities: Oversee and coordinate the activities of workers to achieve business objectives.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain a secure cash environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or service industry setting.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with extended periods of standing.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask.
- Parking: Parking is available on site.
