About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at Jablonsky, Ast and Partners, Ast and Partners International. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine Plans and Drawings

Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications.

Inspect Construction

Inspect the construction of buildings and engineering projects to ensure they meet the required standards.

Ensure Compliance

Ensure that all construction work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.

Enforce Codes and Regulations

Enforce steel and concrete installation codes to ensure the safety and quality of the construction.

Inspect and Report

Inspect and provide reports on the condition of new or resale homes.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction inspection or a related field.

Skills and Abilities
  • Attention to Detail

Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in inspections.

Excellent Communication

Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.

Flexibility

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Ability to make sound judgements and decisions in a timely manner.

Organized

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
